Is a MagSafe Case Required?
If you don't own an iPhone 12 or later, a MagSafe case or a magnetic ring is necessary. MagSafe cases can be purchased for all iPhone models starting from iPhone 8, the first iPhone model to have wireless charging compatibility.
 
If you don't have an iPhone, there's no need to worry. Simply use the magnetic ring. Just place the ring on your phone or phone case, and it will make any smartphone that has wireless charging capabilities compatible with our MagSafe chargers

Avoid placing sensitive items such as credit cards, passports, security badges, or key fobs on your wireless charging pad as this may harm the magnetic strips or RFID chips. Ensure that these items are not positioned between your device and the charger during charging or remove them from their cases prior to charging.
